In April 2002, we released "Don't Duck Your Duty", a Geocaching Travel Bug, with the goal of traveling from California to Punta Gorda Isles, Florida in time for our visit on Christmas of 2003. The bug disappeared in southern California three months later
A couple of weeks after it disappeared, we decided to release a bunch more bugs with the same goal. Counting "Don't Duck Your Duty", we released ten travel bugs with the same goal. As of 1 March 2005, four of the bugs have made it to Punta Gorda Isles. One of those disappeared before we got there. Another was there when we arrived, and we retrieved it, but it has since disappeared. The other two arrived after we had returned home and are still active. Six bugs, including "Don't Duck Your Duty", have disappeared before they reached their goal.

Made it to PGI after we were there, then migrated back to California. Now this bird wants to migrate south in the winter (21 September to 21 March) and north in the summer (21 March to 21 September). > |

Froggy made it to the right area, but hurricanes had wiped out all the local geocaches. Now it wants to find Mengarelliott on its own. Please move Froggy nearer to San Jose, California. > |

This is the only bug that made it to PGI by 25 Dec 2003 and was still available for retrieval. It was re-released on the west coast with no specific mission, then disappeared along with the cache it was in. > |
